  • Izakaya @ Musha - we keep on revisiting this place which serves delicious Japanese tapas, their dishes are quite unique and we always enjoy washing the food down with a chilled glass of Asahi or Sapporo.

We were so stuffed after finishing the rice course and have no desire to have dessert. Maybe we should have ordered one less dish to make room for dessert. Well then, see you again next time, Musha!

  • Impromptu Dinner @ Shiro Restaurant - One Wednesday, W had a sudden urge for some fine dining, and I was able to find a table for two nearby. I had actually tried Shiro a few times before and had gone to Shiro’s other restaurant Orris, in West L.A.(on trendy Sawtelle, amongst a row of Japanese eateries) which was quite good serving Franco pan Asian tapas style dishes.

It was a nice break for a weekday dinner date! So sad it was the last meal of having foie gras because California has now banned restaurants serving anything related to this delicious delicacy. I guess I have to fly over to New York to quench my craving!
