Maldives – We took a prop plane to Kooddoo, a small domestic airport about one hour flight from Male international airport. Then, a 40-minute motor boat ride to our destination.
The plane, a Bombardier turbo propeller seats about 39 passengers…..
I have not seen a live pre-flight safety drill for a while…..
Please pardon the fuzzy video, it was the smudgy window…..

Going for a boat ride to our destination…..
It was a choppy ride…..
Our rooms on the left, beach on the right…..

Oh, my, what a beautiful spot!
Quite an interesting start of an adventure.
Man, this is amazing.
Amazing pictures, and nice videos. It’s amazing such a place exists. What an amazing world we live in!
@happyobligations - Yeah, OMG…HAHAHA!
@slmret - Yes, it’s very beautiful and remote too.
@stevew918 - It was quite an adventure, the rough seas almost took our little speed boat out. I was praying on my knees . Glad we made it….hehe
@KevEats - Amazing journey so far! LOL
@making_a_comeback_05 - Thank you, I’m glad my short and crude videos turned out okay. I hope to shoot a few more in the coming days.
I love the bathroom!!! I’m a bathroom kinda guy lol. Was it gloomy during your entire stay though?
Tourist and fishing are two main economic powerhouses for the Maldives.I see you are being well taken care of as a tourist. Any side reasons to visit the Maldives?
@oxyGENE_08 - I love the bathroom too! Haha, the shower stall can fit at least four peeps. Gloomy? How about storm + torrential rain in between? But so far, there are frequent blue skies. Love it!
@PPhilip - Side reasons? None other than sight seeing and to rekindle my fondness for “Finding Nemo”.
Beautiful spot.
The weather actually looks very nice…
Wish it was like that here in the Bay rather than how blazing hot it is
@CurryPuffy – I wouldn’t fit 4 people in the shower stall. 2 is enough! Lol And that’s right, don’t let the storm ruin your vacation. It happened to me a couple of times (I have the rain curse I think lol).
The pictures you guys have been posting have been beautiful, although you sure seem to be getting some storms. It is a shame that Tawn isn’t a beach and sun person at all. Perhaps I’ll never be able to go to a beautiful beachy destination like that! =(
Maldives….I love that place soo much….enjoy the Sun…but don’t dig out the coral like some tourists from the Far East…:P
OMG, how wonderful. I love seeing that. How perfectly serene and glorious that beach looks.
@CurryPuffy – i watched the boat video, the sea was quite rough. Think of it as one of the magic mountsin rides, hehe
@CurryPuffy - You’re welcome, and that’s cool! Hope your new videos turn out well.
@stevew918 - Yes, no kidding!! It was a wild ride!!
@ZSA_MD - So peaceful indeed…..until a noisy group of mainland Chinese tourists trampling all over! LOL
@agmhkg - Yes I know what you are talking about, haha, I’ll keep a good eye on them. There is a group of three couples here and they brought a bunch of air inflatable play stuff (floating bed, a crocodile, a ball) and they are having a great time!
@christao408 - Probably you may suggest a fashion shoot in some beaches in Maldives, and at the same time during your birthday or anniversary celebrations? I have not gotten a dark tan yet, hehe.
@Devilzgaysianboi - It was blazing hot in the Bay Area? Then, it must be melting hot down in L.A. Thanks to the monsoons here in Maldives keeping up the natural fan blowing!
Oh my god – that beach and the place you were staying in….
@stepaside_loser - Yes, the place is amazing, as advertised!
o.m.g…….
@iskrak - I agree….lol
